Our 3rd stay at villa. We plan to do and see something different on each occasion. Our trip to old city of Almeria is highly recommended, a fantastic castle with many wonderful views. Parking at the port is cheap and an ideal base to explore all the sites. Another really relaxing week Tried out new Indian restaurant at Val de Este commercial centre, very friendly and excellent food. Thank you Jo and Miles.
We had a very enjoyable week. Villa is even bigger than it appears on the photographs and is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Outside space is great and everything met with the approval of our little fella (travel cot and high chair). Setting is very picturesque and peaceful with beaches and supermarkets close by. Great for families or couples, golfers. and non-golfers alike. We would thoroughly recommend.
What a lovely villa with everything you could ever need. We have had a wonderful week with glorious sunshine, we have really chilled out. We loved the old town of Mojacar, set up high with splendid views over the Med. We also enjoyed the small fishing port of Villaricos and had some lovely walks along the prom and beach at Mojacar Playa. Thank you so much for letting us share in your dream.
Lovely accommodation and a pleasant quiet end spot beside pool. Weather has been great, just one short thunderstorm one night. Visited Garrucha, Mojacar and Lurbin, all very interesting and information/directions in the Villa were very helpful. Enjoyed sitting by the Azahares Pool watching the Golfers go by and also made use of the excellent Hotel Terrace and pool, for lunch and dip. This is our first visit to Spain for many years and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Thank you both very much for our lovely holiday. Your villa is amazing and is just like having your own private pool. I will be recommending your villa to my friends. Lovely and peaceful location, a truly relaxing holiday and we loved every minute.
A very enjoyable week with good weather, averaging highs of 32°C. Wind came up a few afternoons so be careful if you take any sun umbrellas to the beach. Really enjoyed the pool, swan lengths every morning with games of volleyball later in the day. The men played a round of golf, they said it was an interesting challenge, not too many lost balls they say. We ladies had the relaxing Spa day treatment, it was very good and well worth the money. Had a few trips out to the local attractions, beautiful scenery and Spanish history. Have left lots to came back to.
A thoroughly relaxing and enjoyable 2 weeks. You really do have a wonderful retreat here and we are sure you will enjoy it for many years to come. It was great to relax in the pool and watch the golfers tee off on the 13th hole. They all looked quite hot and bothered and very envious of us in the cool water. Just what we needed.
Second visit for us, great as the first. Did more sightseeing on this trip, Old Mojacar was interesting, as was the trip to Lubria – 45 minutes away in the hills. We also drove to the Alhambra Place in Granada, a ‘must-do’ trip. Amazing architecture and history. Glad we booked tickets in advance. Don’t always believe your sat nav, we would have been better off just following the signs off the motorway. All in all a tremendous week that went too quickly.
What a really great week we have had. Glorious weather, pool to ourselves and wonderful uncrowned beaches. Number 11 Azahares really is a little oasis of peace and tranquillity. The girls have loved both the pool and the high waves on the beach at Garrucha. I haven’t been tempted onto the golf course, will have to leave that till next time. This has been a really nice villa to stay in. Lovely to watch the golfers tee off. The pool has been very quiet apart from the company of a playful frog (Lucy).
What a fantastic holiday we have had. A beautiful place to stay, lovely comfortable rooms with everything we needed. The weather has been really hot, so the pool was a must every day and we had it completely to ourselves. We swam in the Med a couple of days, found some superb restaurants at the coast. Spent a day at the Alhambra Palace in Granada, a long trip but well worth it. Thanks you for the brilliant directions and information packs. We have had a really great stay.
